This week Lithuanians are having partners from Norway, Oslo in Vilnius. The visit will last from 3rd to 9th of November. There will be various activities in and outside the city. The aim of this visit is the recognition of culture and crafts, materials and methods, analysis of linen processing tools preserved in the museums of Lithuania, analysis of traditions of linen production, the road of linen from “plant to fabric”, as well as creation of the concept of final product – mobile exhibition / workshop.

10.00-13.00 Introduction to Lithuanian National Costume. Guided tour at Lithuanian Folk Culture Centre.
14.00-17.00 Financial meeting between partners and audit of the project.
5th of November
10.00-13:00 Visit to Kernavė, UNESCO World Heritage site. Fixation of linen processing tools at the museum of Kernavė Archaeological Site.
14:00-18:00 Visit to Krikštėnai. Meeting with the Partner of the project. Education “The Road of Linen” at Krikštėnai Community Center.
6th of November
10.00-12.00 Visit to Open Air Museum of Lithuania in Rumšiškės. Guided tour through the museum.
13.00-15.00 Presentation of the spinning and weaving tools and processes, fixation of linen processing tools at Open Air Museum of Lithuania in Rumšiškės.
7th of November
Presentation of spinning and weaving crafts. Guided tours at the galleries:

16:00-19.00 The Old Crafts Workshop
